In this first episode, I talked with Salimata Badji - Knight, an activist; in relation to female genital mutilation (FGM). We talked about It's origin, the dangers of this cultural practice and the impact in our society as a whole. Campaigns carried out to stop this physical, psychological and sexual forms of abuse meted out to young girls and women generally.
